FLBC hosted the annual Fredericton Invitational.  Bowlers from Saint John (Seaside Club) joined Fredericton club to make up teams or four.  The winning team was Gary Cosman (SJ), Anita Graves (Fton), Gloria McLaughlin (Fton) and Diana McQueen (SJ).

The runners up were Millie Johnson (SJ), Barb Piers (SJ), Pat Beggs (Fton) and Dan McDonald (Fton).

2017 Canadian Senior Mens Triples

Walter Steeves (Fton), Pat Beggs (Fton) and Brian Meyers (Moncton) came home with the Bronze Medal from the Canadian Senior Mens Triples.  

2017 Atlantic Bowls

Members of FLBC that participated in the 2017 Atlantic Bowls competition held at Westmount Lawn Bowling Club in Montreal. 

Top:  Womens Triples: Colleen MacHatten, Cheryl Mulholland and Joan Ward.

Middle: Mens Triples: William Cranke, David Watts and Pat Beggs.

Other teams were:

Mens pairs with Lawrence Keegan and David Tripp (Manchester)

A special note and congratulation to Gloria McLaughlin and Patricia Albert who walked off with the Bronze medal for the Womens Pairs competition. 

2017 US Open Champioships

News from the 2017 US Open Championships is that FLBC's Pat Beggs won the Mens Pairs competition partnered with Tom Burnoski (US).  What makes this win so incredible is the Pat and Tom won the Men's Pairs from a field of 63 teams.   

2017 Christmas party


Our club began its season with two successful tournaments.

--The winners of the President's Mixed Fours trophy are Lawrence Keegan, Verna Morrisey, Cheryl Mulholland and Noreen Bonnell.  Second place went to Anita Graves, Marg Gray, William Cranke and David Watts.

-The winners of the Lois Graham Memorial Mixed Triples Trophy went to the team of Walter Steeves, Helen Leroux and Virginia Cranke.  The second place winners were Marg Gray, Michele Olscamp and Gilles Boudreau.

Fredericton Invitational

A draw of 14 teams of triples competed in our annual invitational.  Club Members from Moncton

and Saint John participated.  The winning team was made up of Pat Beggs, Karen Hughes and Cindy Gallagher.


The Fredericton Lawn Bowling Club has opened its 2015 bowling season with two fun competitions.


-The President's Mixed Four's Trophy  competition had five teams entered. The first place team was Gloria McLaughlin (skip), Fraser McHatten (mate), Michele Olscamp (second) and Camille Albert (lead).  Runners-up were the team of Jeff Mulherin (skip), Virginia Cranke (mate), Anita Graves (second), and Noreen Bonnell (lead).

-There were eight teams entered in the Lois Graham Mixed Triples Trophy competition.  The first place team was Fraser McHatten (skip), Marg Gray (mate) and Virginia Cranke (lead).  Runners-up were the team of Jeff Mulherin (skip), Jeanne Oja (mate) and Colleen McHatten (lead).


The Fredericton Annual Invitational was held on Wednesday, June 17th  with participants from the Centennial Lawn Bowling Club (Moncton) and the Seaside Lawn Bowling Club (Saint John).

A draw of approximately 12 teams of mixed triples competed.  The winning team was Diana McQueen (Seaside), Ward Campbell (F'ton), and Richard Hughes (Seaside) with the trophy presentation by FLBC president Michele Olscamp.
